Here’s the video we made for Jennifer and Sean!
Filmed by Chris Thiessen & Forrest Kline
Jennifer and Sean’s Pasadena wedding was just stunning! Every detail was so delicate and romantic. Garland hung everywhere! The original ceremony was supposed to be on the lawn, but an hour before the wedding began, it started pouring- so we moved everything indoors. We had planned ahead and decorated the spare room with draped fabric and garland just in case it rained- but we never expected it to actually rain in sunny California! The room was so small, there was only enough space for family to be seated, but really, the standing crowd just added to the ambience. We had an amazing experience working with Jennifer and Sean; they love each other so much and we wish them the best!
Stay tuned for more photos and video from their wedding!

Check out what inspired us for Rachael and Travis’ Joshua Tree Wedding
Here is the full invitation suite we created for Rachael & Travis’ Joshua Tree Wedding! It was inspired by vintage joshua tree postcards. I love the way they turned out! We also collected some awesome vintage stamps of gems and cacti that went perfectly with the whole invitation theme!
Rachael’s Bouquet Breakdown!
Rachael’s bouquet is one of my all time favorites! We gathered natural desert foliage from around the venue and created the bouquet the day of the wedding so it turned out amazing and fit in perfectly with the entire vibe!
Here are some of the flowers we used:
Various types of Joshua Tree foliage
Juliet garden roses
Thistle
Silver Brunia
Veronica
Protea
Peach Hypericum berry
Ornithogalum
Silver dollar eucalyptus
Scabiosa pods
and Hanging Amaranthus

With Thanksgiving swiftly approaching (7 days, people!), we’ve put together what inspires us this season as we spend quality time with our family and dearest friends, indulging in delicious meals and sipping wine around the fire.
Natural brides, get all gussied up with this look that we are LOVING.
I know, I know, you don’t like wearing much, but it’s important to come to terms with the fact that you’ll need to wear a little more makeup on your wedding day. That doesn’t mean you’ll require a Kim K mask- you’ll still want to look like your beautiful self!
Your best friends on your wedding day will be an eyeshadow primer, a quality semi-matte liquid foundation, and an amazing lipstick that wears well. My personal favorite bridal foundation is Makeup Forever HD- its coverage is stunning but remains invisible in photographs and real life.

Rachael’s Black & White Cocktail Party Bridal Shower
Here are some of the photos of Rachael’s bridal shower! We went with a black white and coral theme with some sexy masks in honor of Halloween! We had cactus favors for all the guests because Rachael and Travis’ wedding is going to be in Joshua Tree and we wanted a token to get everyone pumped for the big day! Some of the ladies dressed up in fun wigs and masks and looked adorable! Hope you enjoy the photos!
Here is a highlight from the photobooth we set up at the party! The bride is sportin’ the pink wig and flower crown! Everyone looked amazing and had so much fun in their wigs and masks! Can’t wait for the wedding this weekend!
Chelsea and I had so much fun planning a bridal shower/bachelorette party extravaganza for her sister Rachael. It was held the weekend before Halloween so all the girls dressed in wigs and sexy masks. Check out our inspiration board and look forward to seeing these photos on Monday!
With Thanksgiving coming up in 2 weeks, we wanted to share a cute DIY placemat tutorial our friend Chelsea Petaja created to impress your friends and family with. Check it out at Oh My Deer and get to crafting!
We are thrilled to share Sierra and Martin’s Celestial wedding from October! Their wedding was the perfect blend between their love of outer space and classic romance without losing the picnic vibe they wanted. Glitter and stars everywhere!

We are so excited to show some of the paper goods from Martin & Sierra’s celestial themed wedding! The constellations are their zodiac signs, and we think they turned out adorable!
One thing we love about modern weddings is that couples allow their personality to shine through every detail in their wedding.
We recently worked with a couple who originally wanted a casual picnic wedding vibe, but the bride was so obsessed with outer space, we HAD to incorporate that theme into their special day. Actually, space took over! We can’t wait to share their wedding photos, but until then, here is what inspired us for Martin and Sierra’s wedding!
